When it comes to surround sound technology, the advancements and achievements are seemingly endless. Over the last 12 months, Dolby Atmos® has proliferated, moving into homes, TV series, music, sporting events, video games, cellular devices, and more. At Platin Audio, surround sound is our specialty—we proudly introduced Monaco 5.1.2, featuring front speakers with upfiring drivers to play Dolby Atmos and Dolby Atmos Music height channels. Like our Milan 5.1 and Monaco 5.1 models, Monaco 5.1.2 includes WiSA SoundSend—the wireless audio transmitter that supports and decodes multiple audio formats, such as Dolby Atmos, Dolby Atmos Music, Dolby® TrueHD, and Dolby Digital Plus™.
Platin Audio Monaco 5.1.2 with WiSA SoundSend was released in October 2022, and combines stunning WiSA-certified 5.1.2 wireless surround sound with the legendary Dolby Atmos experience. Like Monaco 5.1, Monaco 5.1.2 includes a center-channel speaker, subwoofer, two rear speakers, and two front speakers; however, its front speakers expand the soundstage even further, with upfiring drivers that direct sound vertically—toward the ceiling—creating a complete surround sound arena, much like that of a movie theater.
