Only Two Front Speakers Are Working
Only having audio come out of your front speakers while all the others are silent could be because 2 issues.
- The audio output settings on your TV is set to output PCM stereo and not Dolby Digital or Passthrough.
- The streaming service is only providing 2 channel stereo output to your TV and your TV is passing the 2 channel stereo to the SoundSend.
In either case, there is a setting that will help with this through the SoundSend app.
Audio Settings Tab - In the audio settings tab there is a dropdown called Audio Mode. There are 4 settings: Normal, Movie, Music, & Night.
Normal - Will play the audio as it is received from the audio source. That means if your TV is sending 2 channel Stereo, the SoundSend will fill only 2 channels with audio. This is why you only have 2 speakers working.
Movie - Will provide virtual surround sound filling all speakers with different audio ranges. This works extremely well and provides a much better listening experience.
