Will My TV Work with SoundSend?
There are many TVs in the market to choose from, and many, yet again, are already being used in homes. If you are wondering whether your older TV will work with this system, you have found the correct article to read.
One major caveat to using an older TV with any surround sound system that receives its audio signal directly from the TV is the TV's support of 5.1 audio output. Many TVs that are from 2015 or older do not support 5.1 audio through the ARC or even the optical port. There are even some TVs from 2016 that will not produce 5.1 surround as well. With these cases, the best you will be able to get out of your TV is 2.0 stereo sound with any system.
